I very, very rarely buy things for myself (aside from books and fabrics that is) but when browsing through blogs about 2 months ago I came across this.
And I had to have her.
Aside from the not buying thing it was also odd as I'm not really into the whole childhood nostalgia thing at all.
When she arrived she was even better than I had imagined - and I told PG that I would blog about her.
Three months late - here she is. Absolutely gorgeous - she lives on my mantlepiece with a chicken made from recycled plastic bags.

These are my tip for the top - I read somewhere that PG is going to be exhibiting at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh and Sally came in this morning as I was photographing Miss Goose and asked if this was by the lady who will have things The Green Gallery in December as Becky had been extolling the virtues of these wonderful felted creatures (and had known about my goose). We live in a tiny community but then this goose deserves to be famous.
.
Oh, blushes...thank you so much! Yes I am putting some toys (and paintings) into the Green Gallery for the Christmas bash and of course noticed you there (on the website) too! I was quite amazed at the coincidence of sending Lil up to you and then getting the interest from the Green Gallery! It is indeed a small world. :)
But I am not (alas) in the Scottish Gallery...unless someone knows something I don't!

I think she may need to have her portrait painted by her creator:)

If she were to behave badly for any reason, I would take her off your hands ...
