A couple of weeks ago I was approached by Ali Benyon at the Cheeky Pickle blog to see whether I would write something about moving a business from kitchen table to something bigger.

That made so much sense - far better advice than the gumf Etsy constantly spews out. Their advice is so often unrealistic.
So thank you for writing so honestly.

I don't make I write but your story applies just as much to a writer or anyone starting out selling themself. Treat it as a job not a hobboy, take it seriously and other people will take you seriously too.
BTW my mum still thinks her pocket mirror I gave her a few years ago is the best she has :)
