I try to fit in a bit of design time every day - between 2 (when Isobel leaves) and 3.30 (when Katie gets back from school) I turn off the radio, spread myself about a bit and get down to some concentrated cutting and drawing and sewing. Its a special part of the day, a break between two periods of pure production.
For the past couple of weeks I have been concentrating on 2 art prints that I have been designing which are due to go to print at the end of next week. Tomorrow I shall be taking all my bits of sewing and fabrics and wallpapers to see Kate who is going to be putting it all together onto the computer.
I can't show the designs yet - they aren't finished - but one is made up from these happy 1970s duvet cover designs.
The art prints are A1 size and it is going to be a numbered and signed limited edition. The first ones are going to be going as prizes in the Great Summer Sheep Saving Raffle at http://www.savingrarebreeds.org.uk
So if you fancy No1 in the editions hop over and buy some tickets.
Oh transported back in time. I still have my duvet cover from the 70s. Can't wait to see your design.
