Today is my first day back at the sewing machine after a fortnight of trade shows and samples meetings. I missed it so much. By yesterday morning I was fidgeting away on my stand, desperate to stop selling and start making.
It didn't help that I knew there were orders piling up in the in tray . . .
So this morning passed in a blur of making hearts - over 2000 were ordered at the Trade Fairs for immediate delivery - and now I have been playing with my new packaging as I get them ready to post out.
We now have proper printed packaging for everything, cards for the badges, bags and card flaps for the mirrors - which is making it much easier to store, pack and send. But best of all I have the mother-of-all staplers to play with.
This is a terrible photo of one of the mirrors, but the best I can do in a rush. All orders are now being sent out with our lovely new packaging - "this product is handmade in Scotland from vintage and recycled fabrics".
I feel quite grown up! Now back to the stapler . . .
