Flowers are picked
The brief is to make a sheaf bouquet with an autumnal feel but in soft colours.
I've actually found it quite tricky this not working with an actual bride - but I'm assuming a professional model will be tall enough to carry something substantial and have blocked out a design.
With eucalyptus, willowherb seedcases, stipa gigantea, eupatorium rubra, echinace, sunflowers and sedum.
Now all I have to do is set up the sat nav; download an audio book or 2 to listen to and head off tomorrow. I shall wave as I pass the towns which ring bells.
Rachel from Catkin flowers , who is the florist on home turf for the photo shoot, has very kindly invited me for tea tomorrow, so I am already feeling a whole load more relaxed. It will be interesting to meet another florist who grows some of her stock.
